Michael Hines

BA, Grad.Dip.Soc.Sc. (Psychology), Postgrad.Dip (Psychology), Assoc.MAPS 

Michael specialises in the fields of Resilience, Mindfulness and Positive Psychology – the science of optimal functioning – and their application in the workplace.  He helps organisations harness and maximise the now well-documented relationship between individual well-being and business outcomes (e.g. reduced staff turn over, reduced absenteeism and presenteeism, increased profitability, etc.).

Michael is a Registered Psychologist, executive coach and facilitator with a 4-year degree in Psychology from the University of New England and Monash University.  His interest in Mindfulness stems from a personal meditation practice spanning 15 years and he has taught Mindfulness at Monash University. Michael also recently spent 2-years at UNSW, where he had a lead role in a large-scale, University-wide, well-being and resilience project.  Michael has over 10 years business experience including business development, sales, marketing, communications and online, from prior to his transition to Psychology. 

 

Jo Knorr

Jo is a highly regarded corporate trainer and facilitator who maintains a strong focus on empowering people in their life, work and personal journey. Jo has a successful track record in executive management roles and she has worked with public and private sector groups, both within Australia and internationally, as a management consultant, trainer and facilitator.

She has a Bachelor of Business Degree and the development and delivery of programs based on the needs of her clients has included work in the areas of innovation, diversity in the workplace, strategic planning, project management, team building, performance management, customer centricity, communication skills and presenting with impact.
